Free 2D Graphics:
- WidgetWorx SpriteLib: SpriteLib is a collection of static and animated graphic objects (also commonly known as sprites). It was created to provide hobbyist game developers with an assortment of images to use in their creations.

- CG Textures: CGTextures strives to be the world’s best texture site
- Mayang’s Free Textures: Over 4350 free to download, high-resolution textures
Free Animations:
- Carnegie Mellon University Graphics Lab Motion Capture Database: This dataset of motions is free for all uses.
Free Fonts:
- The League of Moveable Type: Very nice, free, open source fonts
- Open Font Library: Free open-source fonts.
- Acid Fonts: Tons of free fonts.
Free Sound:
- Freesound: Freesound is a collaborative database of Creative Commons Licensed sounds. Browse, download and share sounds.
- pdsounds: Public domain sounds.
- DrPetter’s sfxr: This is a tool to generate random sounds that can be exported as .WAV files.
Free Music:
- Free Music ArchiveThe Free Music Archive is library of high-quality, legal audio downloads. Every MP3 is pre-cleared for certain types of uses that would otherwise be prohibited by copyright laws.
- Jamendo: Tons of Creative Commons music.
- Open Music Archive: A collaborative project to source, digitise and distribute out-of-copyright sound recordings.

Creative Commons
Another option is to use FREE Creative Commons resources. In most cases, you can use Creative Commons content for FREE, even for commercial purposes, so long as you provide attribution to the original creator.
