Easy Turn is a wireless bicycle taillight that will show cars which direction you are turning or if you are breaking.
Easy Turn attaches easily to the back of a bike and acts just like the lights on the back of a car.
The team behind this ambitious project consists of members who come from leading universities in Taiwan. Most of the team members are graduates of the National Taiwan Univsersity of Science and Technology, one of the best design and engineering universities in Asia.
Over the last 15 months, the Easy Turn team has spent a great deal of time designing the devices fucntions and ensuring Easy Turn is a well-developed product. However, its implementation can be quite complicated. The team used a 3D printer to create a prototype and to design circuit board programs. They are currently looking for stronger materials and better manufacturing methods, and are testing the ABS injection molding, circuit board production, signaling and water resistance. Easy Turn has been turned into a wireless, sleek looking, easy to install safety device.
This month Easy Turn started raising funds through the innovative use of crowdfunding. Their crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo will help them start production of the Easy Turn wireless taillight.
